So for basically the last 2-3 (debatably 4) years I have been playing online poker for a living, over that that I have progressively gotten better and moved up in stakes making more money etc etc (albeit slowly). Even though I have progressed motivation has always been a problem for me. I could get a little bit deeper as to why but that seems like wasted time. I always have taken a pretty lax approach to my poker career and I am kinda of sick of not living up to what I think* my potential is with this game. So that in a nutshell is the purpose of this blog. Now in the past I have made really strict guidelines for my goals like " play 30k hand of HU NLH, 15k hands of PLO, and watch 10 poker instructional videos this month" and I think that's been part of why I usually fail to achieve them, I need to give myself some wiggle room. So for this one I'm just going to keep it simple, turn the 60k I have online spread between 3 poker sites into 360k by the end of the year. That averages out to be about 42k a month, which I have made 40k+ in a month probably only 3 or 4 times in my career so that task should be pretty daunting. And I think for it to be possible I'm going to have force myself to move up in stakes when I'm ready (something I have always been overly hesistent to do) and I'm going to have to expand my game to other forms of poker, like 6max NLHE and HU 6max Plo . These are also things that I have always meant to do but never gotten around to (because i'm a lazy unmotivated pos at times). So yeah, 7 months 300k gogogogo. These are my results so far this year. I'll post graphs as updates and maybe interesting hands from time to time. GO ME!
60k to 360?
My name is Ryan I'm 24 and I play poker for a living, I have hit kind of a rut with my motivation to play, so I'm hoping this blog can provide a little extra motivation to reach some goals I have made.

60k to 360k?
-Hello, I hate the introductory posts a lot, I have had a few blogs in the past and I just would like to up and start this one for its purpose right away. So I'll just say I am a online poker player who plays mid-level (stakes) No limit holdem cash games. For anyone who stumbles upon this blog and doesn't know what that is you mine as well just quit reading now, because that's going to pretty much be the focus of this entire blog.
